A BACKLESS DRESS & A SHOULDER KISS (LONDON WEDDING)
THE BLOG RETURNS TODAY, WITH THE WEDDING OF ROB & ALY, WHO BROUGHT A LITTLE GLAMOUR AND FUN TO HAMPTON WICK LAST WEEK. THEIR CLASSY VENUE CHOICE MATCHED THEIR CHIC STYLE PERFECTLY, BUT IT WAS THEIR CHEMISTRY THAT LIFTED THIS PHOTO-STORY UP INTO THE HEADIER HEIGHTS OF ROMANCE.

POLISHED WOODEN FLOORS REFLECT THE LIGHTS FROM THE CHANDELIERS, AND GRAND FIREPLACES ON EITHER END OF THE ROOM FRAME THE SPACE.
Add to this, a Bride in backless dress and a Groom in a sharp blue suit, and you've pretty much got a photographer's dream day.
Let's just take a moment though, to talk about that dress. When Aly was milling and chatting with her guests, and I was photographing the scene, it was hard not to be constantly drawn back to that dress. The backless cut was off-set with a stunning jewelled back piece, including pearls and diamante.
IN THAT DRESS, ALY LITERALLY TOOK CENTRE STAGE EVERYWHERE SHE STOOD. TO THAT END, IT WAS THE PERFECT DRESS FOR HER.
I'm going to let these photos speak for themselves this week, without too much chatter from me. When I work on these long and stressful days, I experience them very differently to those around me in the moment.
BUT SOMEHOW, ONCE I AM HOME AND I AM EDITING, I SEEM TO SEE THE DAY AGAIN WITHOUT THE WORRY OF THE WORK.
And I thoroughly enjoyed re-living this wedding day in my photos. It had feeling, emotion, fun, friendship, family, story, AND style. I hope I have reflected all of this here.
